Title: What category should body armor be put under?

I'm interested in selling body armor over Silk Road, and wondering what section it would be put it under.  Would it be under apparel or weapons, due to the nature of such goods?

Weapons is probably the most logical choice. Remember that all Teflon body armor does have an expiration date.

Or you can clickey on 'Suggest New Category' on the listing creation page. I'm sure they'd be responsive, as that does sound like something that logically should have its' own category.

at first glance... i thought the title of this thread was "what clothing should body armor be put under?".... which I found funny. :)

I feel like the weapons section is more offense oriented where as body armor is more of a type of clothing/defense which would be best fit in apparel

Exactly, and I currently don't see anyone selling body armor right now.  I have a lead on some soon to be retired pieces, all are new IBA's with 4 seti plates included.  I have 1 large that would be up for sale if I could afford the seller account.
